The language of the work combines the traditions of East and West, dance and martial arts in a very attractive way.

It is a piece that the company has danced with gusto and almost without interruption for over 10 years.

Music by Johnny Trank and the Juice Ensemble

Choreography - Maurice Causey (USA)

Teacher - Olesya Pantikina

Performers.

Vasil Dipchikov, Stefan Vuchov, Filip Milanov

Choreographer Maurice Causey turns kiddie carefree, youthful freshness, the cult of being cool, soi-disant and cheerful non-pukism into an ironic and ruthless tool for exposing the luck of living in post-postmodern times. The show is breathlessly, almost frenetically paced, colourful, colourful and cheeky

"DANTZON 2"

Music by Arturo Marquez,

Choreography - Boryana Sechanova

Teacher - Olesya Pantikina

Performed by Daniela Ivanova and Erwin Essen

"We saw an orchestra in which the musicians literally did not touch the ground [...] And above all, I saw on every single face something that I have always believed music to be - pure joy. Communication and joy."

It's music that makes you turn around, notice the person walking by, smile, want to touch them and dance...

"WATER"

Music- Yeghish Manukyan

Idea and choreography - Filip Milanov

Performed by - Konstantina Handjieva and Valery Milenkov

It makes its way through everything, leaving a mark behind!

"Water" is a contemporary dance miniature, the subject of which is the personality and its personal and intimate environment. The miniature explores the self-modelling of the individual - how the decisions they make to move through certain situations and conditions of physical space influence their internal environment of perceptions, emotions and sensations.

"DROP IN THE OCEAN"

Music - Dobrinka Tabakova

Choreography - Anthony Middleton (UK)

Costumes - Yana Dvoretska

Tutor - Olesya Pantikina

Performed by: Daniela Ivanova, Petya Koleva, Stefka Tabakova

"Drop in the Ocean explores loneliness and emptiness, the feeling that there is something missing from our lives.

The choreographer is interested in the paradox of how this feeling of emptiness can be so profound for any individual, yet in a fast-paced chaotic world can seem so insignificant, like a drop in the ocean.

Three dancers in space, each of them trapped in their own existence, search for a way to make connections.

"BOLERO"

Music by Maurice Ravel

Choreography - Margarita Arnaudova

Costumes - Maria Trendafilova

Tutor - Olesya Pantikina

Soloists,

Starring: Andreya Andonova, Victoria Petrova, Elizabeth Yakimova, Petya Koleva, Stefka Tabakova, Teodora Drumeva and Valery Milenkov, Ervin Essen, Svetlozar Tinev, Philip Milanov

"Bolero has a strong programmatic character and an impressive atmosphere, where the ballet movement is stylized to the rhythm of Spanish dance. Credit for the expressive colourfulness of the dance goes to the polyphonic nature of Margarita Arnaudova's choreography.

This performance in Ballet Arabesque's 50th anniversary season is our deepest bow to her original talent.

"BOLERO" is one of the iconic performances of the Arabesque Ballet, a legacy of the great choreographer and director of the company, Margarita Arnaudova. "BOLERO is one of the most played performances left in the repertoire of the Arabesque Ballet. It has always been present in the ballet's poster when it performs its programs not only in the country, but also in almost all overseas tours. Maria Trendafilova's costumes also contribute to the originality and colourfulness of the performance. The show was first staged in 1987.
