On February 27, 2019, the Stara Zagora State Opera and the National School of Music and Performing Arts (NSMA) "Christina Morfova" offered the second joint premiere of the year of the musical "The Classy Woman". The project is the program on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of NUMSI "Hristina Morfova" in Stara Zagora. It is realized with the assistance of the Municipality of Stara Zagora.

The musical "The Class is Married" is by the composer prof. Filip Pavlov, who attended the premiere and congratulated the participants in the performance. The libretto is by Lyubomir Peevski. The director of the performance is Nikolay Aprilov, the conductor is Krasimir Kashev. The set and costumes are by Teodora Dzhambazova and the choreography is by Radost Mladenova-Arabadzhieva. The roles of the "adults" are performed by artists from the opera. The other 12 roles are played by the students of the "Hristina Morfova" school: Margarita Lachezarova is Kalina the Cloud, Ivan Petrov is Itzo the Cheyncha, Christian Dinev is Ivo the Canadette, Lyubov Zheleva is the Creature, Nelly Taucci is Pena the Spider, Denislav Mikhalev is the Top, Nikolai Donchev is Curry Croissana, Yordan Petev is Sylvie Jean-Fieesa, Zornitsa Zlateva, Christian Dinev and Victor Ivanov are the guitarists. Stacey Georgieva, Polina Pchelarova and Gergana Todorova are students from 11 "c" class.

In the production also participate the pupils of the Ballet Studio of the "Daisies" and the Opera Chamber Orchestra.

"The Class is Married" is a performance by teenagers for teenagers. The plot is typical school. The action takes place in a native Bulgarian school. It involves crazy high school students who are sure that the rules in the "school" discriminate against them, a conservative self-loving and arrogant headmistress who in her own way wants to punish the 11 "c", the headmistress' toady, a student in love with her Bulgarian language and literature teacher who is also the classmate of the unruly "11 "c" . And on top of that, he is about to marry his colleague - a rather extravagant long-legged beauty, who, however, does not appeal to the students.

At the end of the year, only 11 "c" in the whole town will take the matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature, because the headmistress Mrs. Zlateva has ordered it so. The class decides to prevent the matriculation. The boys not only drug and kidnap the teacher Alexandrov, but also write an ultimatum letter to the headmistress. However, she is adamant.

The Inspectorate of Education finds out about the case, makes an inquiry and the head is suspended. The happy ending came when Ivan Alexandrov - The Hot One - was appointed as the new headmaster.

"My goal when I chose to put the title is for the students to 'own' the stage, to inhale its flavor in an actual performance. The roles are performed by students from my opera singing and acting classes, to whom I teach vocal ensembles and vocal training, respectively. Everything we learn in the classrooms, we now apply in the real conditions of stage life"- commented Krasimir Kashev, conductor of the performance and lecturer at NUMSI "Hristina Morfova".

With a clear heart it can be said that the young artists performed extremely professionally. In their irrepressible vitality, artistry, building of the images, at the same time stage freedom, sleepiness, concentration, etc., all were wonderful, fascinating, impressive. Special compliments must go to Margarita Lachezarova as Kalina Cloud, who, in addition to all the other acting qualities in development, showed a beautiful and voluminous voice. The performance from end to end was dynamic, full of humor, mood, dancing, unexpected gags. Of note were both the witty lyrics in measured speech and the magnificent musical setting. And the live performance of a young violinist, also a graduate of NUMSI "Hristina Morfova" now a student at NMA "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Bozhidar Rakhnev, who led the romantic line in the performance.

The well-deserved enthusiastic applause lasted more than 15 minutes. ..."
