"I hate music... but I like to sing" is the title of the second chamber concert from the series "Music without Borders" of the State Opera - Stara Zagora. The audience will hear a varied programme of songs on Saturday, 20 March, at 19.00, performed by soprano Rusalina Mochukova, pianist Denitsa Petrova and actress Svetla Todorova.
Rusalina Mochukova chooses for her song concert a seemingly paradoxical title. However, it has its logical explanation for everyone who has chosen music as a way of existence.
The programme is not subordinated to a particular musical style, but relies on the diverse sensations that the individual composers - masters of the song genre - have incorporated into their works.
To create the feeling of a complete performance, Rusalina Mochukova adds something more to the music.
Rusalina Mochukova has already toured Europe with this programme, and performed it twice in the USA. Now her wish is to offer it to the audience in our country with a message of love and hope that art can convey in an inimitable way.
