The project "We are Musicians" is preferred over the projects of the Vienna Opera, the Royal Swedish Opera and the Danish National Opera

At the end of January, the project "We are Musicians" of the Stara Zagora State Opera was selected in the top ten of the competition for innovative educational productions of the European Philanthropists Association for Opera and Ballet "FEDORA" - the most prestigious European platform supporting innovation in opera and ballet. We would like to remind you that the concept of "We Are Musicians" is aimed at creating the first interactive sensory performance in Bulgaria for children and young people with special educational needs.

A month later, after the jury's decision, the project was selected as one of the 3 finalists that will fight for the prize of the competition.

The final phase starts on 1 April with a special presentation of each of the three opera companies on the FEDORA platform page. A special donation account will be opened for each of the finalists, which will be active until 4 June, and the funds received will be used to implement their project ideas.

In addition to the donations collected, the winner among the finalists will also receive a grant worth €50,000 to deploy their idea.

In addition to the State Opera - Stara Zagora, the "top 3" include the Belgian company "Platform K" and the Italian "Compagnia Teatrale L'Albero". Their ideas were preferred to the concepts of the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Swedish Opera, the Danish National Opera, the Montpellier Opera, the Oxford Garsington Opera, the Irish Wexford Festival Opera and the German Academia Ars Augusta.
