Olesya Pantikina stages the cult dance drama based on the original choreography by Margarita Arnaudova. The founder of the first Bulgarian modern troupe "Arabesque" gave a choreographic interpretation of Marin Goleminov's exceptional music in 1978 and then staged the unforgettable full version of the ballet "Nestinarka" in 1986 especially for the National Ballet, in which the prima ballerina Sylvia Tomova - the current artistic director of the Stara Zagora Opera Ballet - danced the lead role. It is this choreographic version on which the new production of the Stara Zagora State Opera is based. The dance performance intertwines the ethno motives of a real ritual, which takes place on the Day of Saints Constantine and Helena, and the personal drama of a girl in love.
